Patented technologies for enhanced performance
Soben has developed several major innovations, particularly for landing gear :
A hydraulic stop that is active over 100% of the stroke (Soben patent)
This system dissipates an exceptional amount of energy by eliminating the peak load on impact, for a smoother, safer landing. It reduces the stroke required for damping and limits the forces transmitted to the airframe, resulting in a significant weight saving for the structure.
Soben has developed an innovative dual-chamber air spring designed to meet the requirements of aeronautical and industrial applications.
This system combines :
- High stiffness around the static position, effectively limiting variations in the height of the aircraft as a function of load,
- A second spring in series, which increases the amplitude of the damping stroke to improve comfort and increase shock absorption capacity.
This architecture combines static stability and dynamic performance, while fitting in perfectly with the dimensional and functional constraints of modern landing gear.
